ABOUT THE SHOW
September 11, 2001: the Twin Towers collapse and Oskar’s father dies.
It’s the end of the world and the beginning of an adventure; Oskar finds a key among his father’s belongings… But the key to what?
February 15, 1945: The city of Dresden, in Germany, has just been bombed, and a young couple has survived. Yet how can they continue to exist?
Following Lennie & George in 2002 and Richard III in 2004, Teatret Møllen returns to the Festival with it’s extraordinary “théâtre d’acteurs”. A production based on the novel by Jonathan Safran Foer Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, is a show of epic optimism, taking its investigation from Old Europe to the streets of New York and, ultimately, giving us reason to believe and to hope.
