A provocative title, and a rather unusual affiliation! What is the relationship between soccer, a mass phenomenon, the most played sport on earth, popular symbol par excellence… and the subtle art of the dance? Jo Strømgren’s troupe responds with a bold and striking dance, erasing prejudice as well as any division between the sport and the art, while stressing the remarkable physicality shared by the two. A show that borders on the political, that reviews with humour the relationship between sport and art and effectively proves that between the stars of the stadium and the stars of the dance, there is just a single step – a dance step, of course!
